[..YouTube..] Many people in the world SEE Visions.. and Experience Great Master Teachers from Worlds beyond this. Not every one creates a RELIGION around it. There is NO ONE WAY… There are INFINITE levels of LIFE….

  3. QuietOneOnLine Says:

[..YouTube..] if you go to the Jungle, people will WORSHIP YOU.. but for you, you are not a God, but to those who do not know what you are… they can only SEE how DIFFERENT one is. DIFFERENT does not make you are God. Life is ongoing forever… Where your Mind is… you are creating Universes within. There GREATEST GIFT is IMAGINATION.. without Imagination nothing changes…. from imagination your FEED your life force…. with FOCUS and from that WORDS are created and you EXPERIENCE those worlds.

  4. age234 Says:

    [..YouTube..] Two things:

    1. Do Mormons believe that the Trinity is God? that the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are three Persons, one in essence and undivided?

    2. Do Mormons believe that the Son was made incarnate as Man (Jesus), taking upon himself flesh and human limitation without compromising his divinity, so he, being God, could die and thereby destroy Death?

  5. age234 Says:

[..YouTube..] I appreciate Mormonism in the sense that they do have theology of theosis (deification) of humans, which is Christian.

However, Mormons understand it incorrectly. There is only one God, period. Humans do not become gods in essence, as Mormons teach, but gods by God’s grace, through taking on His will as our own. Humans become gods by partaking in God’s divinity (ie uncreated grace). It is not by our own inherent potential.

  6. age234 Says:

[..YouTube..] I should clarify. When I say there is one God, I also mean there is only one divine essence. That is why humans cannot become gods in essence.

  7. lifeisahighwayify Says:

[..YouTube..] ya we do. Please keep an open mind now..In reply to your comment down below, I think that we all can become Gods in the after life if we live righteously and show that our goal is to progress in a good way. Damnation means to not be able to progress. Life in the afterlife would be Hell if we couldn’t progress more.

  8. lifeisahighwayify Says:

[..YouTube..] I believe that God want us to become like Him. Christ wanted us to become like Him. He’s always saying come follow me, follow my example. I believe God loves us so much He wants us to have what He has, pure joy.

  9. lifeisahighwayify Says:

[..YouTube..] Here’s an example; a while back I was wondering what I could give my dad for Christmas since he never tells us what he wants. I was sitting there thinking forever and finally I realized that the greatest gift I could give him would be to follow what he says and to try and become more like him. I believe in the next life we won’t be glorifying God by sounding trumpets, but we’ll be glorifying Him by trying to become like Him.

  10. age234 Says:

[..YouTube..] It’s hard to talk about these matters with 500 characters, lol.

Which of these is the Mormon belief (or closest to it):

    1. Salvation is becoming god in essence. The result is a human who has become something else – god inherently, basically equal in “god-ness” with the Trinity.

    2. Salvation is bringing one’s will perfectly into line with God’s. It is so perfect that the person, while forever human, is god by the grace of God, but remains forever a creature, not inherently god on his own.

  11. age234 Says:

[..YouTube..] I asked the same question on two videos, sorry. I didn’t notice the same person posted both. Sorry.

In what ways does a person progress or regress after death?

  12. age234 Says:

[..YouTube..] To be more concise, what is the nature of a person who becomes god, in comparison with the nature of the Trinity?

  13. omiolo Says:

[..YouTube..] Surveys by the Pew Forum on Religion & Public Life and Trinity College say Mormons represent from 1.4% to 1.7% of the U.S. population.

Wisconsin is home to an estimated 20,000 to 25,000 Mormons, up from about 11,000 in 1987, said William Barrett, president of church missions for most of Wisconsin. His region, which includes all but the far northwest corner as well as the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, added 254 members last year, he said.

  14. omiolo Says:

[..YouTube..] “We’ve seen some good growth in the last few years,” said Barrett, a Brigham Young University professor who took a sabbatical to lead mission efforts here.

Latter-day Saints trace their faith to Joseph Smith Jr., who founded the church in upstate New York in the 1830s. Tradition holds that Smith was visited by God, after which he began dictating the Book of Mormon, one of the Latter-day Saints’ sacred texts along with the Bible.

  15. omiolo Says:

[..YouTube..] Mormons believe in the divinity of Jesus Christ but differ from mainstream Christians on certain doctrine, including the nature of what traditional Christians refer to as the Holy Trinity. Smith and contemporary church leaders are revered as modern-day prophets.

  16. omiolo Says:

[..YouTube..] Saying good-bye to our family was difficult, but buoyed by the Spirit we boarded our plane for the long flight to Chile. There to greet us at the Santiago airport were our wonderful mission president and his wife, Ole and Dena Smith.

  17. age234 Says:

[..YouTube..] Either he made it all up or he was visited by a demon, because Joseph Smith’s teachings contradict the witness of the Church Fathers and the Apostles.

  18. age234 Says:

[..YouTube..] I just don’t know how Mormons can be considered Christians when they don’t even worship the Christian God – the Trinity. It is more than just a doctrine, it is the truth.

  19. omiolo Says:

    [..YouTube..] “the Trinity”

please show me where that is in the Bible?

We went over to where Chuck and Steve had been yesterday where there was a small team of Cuban doctors on their way and a lot of people needing help. We found the Cubans were there and had plans for a pretty nice setup. Gary and I decided to run back over to where Doctors without Borders (Medicine Sans Frontiere – MSF) was working with the Japanese team.

  26. THELDSLIFE Says:

    [..YouTube..] @age234
What can you tell me about the Nicene Creed that many so blindly follow as their basis for the Trinity Theory? I can’t find 1 in 10 Christians who even know much about that creed made… and how oddly enough, they declared in this creed that there should be no more divine inspiration from God… but that they received that creed via “Divine Inspiration”
Joseph Smith saw what he said he saw seeing both God the Father and Jesus Christ.
The Godhead is no longer as dogmatic thx to that.

  27. age234 Says:

[..YouTube..] Where does the Creed say there is no more divine inspiration? The entire Church is under divine inspiration. All of Holy Tradition is divinely inspired.

The Ecumenical Councils and everything in them (including the Creed) are every bit as dogmatic as Scripture.

God cannot be divided against his One Holy Catholic and Apostolic Church. If the Holy Trinity did not exist in the way the Creed says, the Creed would say something different.

The nature of God is absolutely dogmatic.

  28. age234 Says:

[..YouTube..] Furthermore, how was Joseph Smith able to discern whether he was seeing demons or God? Since his teachings contradict that of the Apostles and their successors, the only teachings that can be legitimated, I would have a hard time believing God suddenly decided we had everything wrong.

No, Satan can appear as an angel of light (if not God himself). And he did to Joseph Smith, and thereby this false Christ deceived many.

  29. age234 Says:

[..YouTube..] It’s in the Bible right here:

    1. The Father is God (2Thess 1:1): To the church of the Thessalonians in God our Father…

    2. Jesus is God (Col 2:9): For in him the whole fullness of deity dwells bodily…

    3. Holy Spirit is God (Acts 5:3-4): …filled your heart to lie to the Holy Spirit… You have not lied to men but to God

    4. There is One God (1Tim 2:5): there is one God

    5. The three are not the same Person (Matt 28:19): in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit

  30. age234 Says:

[..YouTube..] 6. The Father begets the Son (Heb 1:5): You are my Son, today I have begotten you…

    7. The Spirit proceeds from the Father (John 15:26): the Spirit of truth, who proceeds from the Father

    —-

The Holy Trinity is clearly the God of the Bible. The Mormon godhead does not satisfactorily model all of these verses. (Mostly because Mormons are polytheists.)

  31. THELDSLIFE Says:

    [..YouTube..] @age234
O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! how unsearchable are his judgments, and his ways past finding out!
    Rom. 11: 33
Truly there are many things about God that we as mere mortals would fail to understand… but we are the offspring of God. We are literal sons and daughters of heavenly parents.
This was made certain with the vision of the prophet Joseph Smith but mentioned many times in the scriptures; (Compare Luke 24:39)

  32. age234 Says:

[..YouTube..] How are we offspring of God? God is spirit, he has no body.

God only had a body after Jesus was incarnate (and not before). Jesus was celibate on Earth and in heaven there is no reproduction, so I fail to see how this works.

We are sons and daughters of God, but not in a literal reproductive sense. We are adopted into God’s family.

  33. THELDSLIFE Says:

    [..YouTube..] @age234
God has revealed through the living word of God that we are his offspring… and not just vagabonds trying to aspire to some kind of heavenly glory.
“For we are also his offspring.
29 Forasmuch then as we are the offspring of God, we ought not to think that the Godhead is like unto gold, or silver, or stone, graven by art and mans device. Acts 17:28-29 – And we should not! We should think of God as our literal father in heaven and not an idol.
The father of our Spirits. Heb. 12: 9

  34. THELDSLIFE Says:

    [..YouTube..] @age234
“Furthermore we have had fathers of our flesh which corrected us, and we gave them reverence: shall we not much rather be in subjection unto the Father of spirits, and live?” Hebrews 12:9
    We have two fathers.
An earthy father and a heavenly father.
One is the father of our bodies.
The other is the father of our Spirits…
I encourage you to ponder on this.
If God is the father of our spirits, as the scriptures say, then he can testify this thing to you through the power of the spirit.

  35. age234 Says:

[..YouTube..] That is flagrantly misconstrued. Yes, God is our Father. He is the cause of all things. But human spirits are not brought into existence through some kind of cosmic sexual encounter between God and some kind of “spirit mother”.

  36. THELDSLIFE Says:

    [..YouTube..] @age234
There is a reason why having a living prophet is useful to men on earth. Without them, men have to rely on their own understanding or private interpretation. Peter has counseled against private interpretation but how can we understand doctrine?
Isaiah suggests that only through prophets can we understand doctrine.
(See Isaiah 28:8-9) and yes, because of modern prophets, passages like the one I gave you is understood as that we have heavenly parents and we are their children.

  37. age234 Says:

[..YouTube..] Jesus Christ is the final revelation of God. There are no modern prophets because God has nothing more to reveal after he revealed himself in the flesh.

The “prophets” you cite are, to be pointed, heretics who are reviving ancient heresies that were stomped out over a thousand years ago.

I don’t rely on private interpretation, I rely on the teachings of the Church that have remained the same for the last ~1,975 years.

  38. age234 Says:

[..YouTube..] An example of heresy in Mormonism is the Law of Eternal Progression.

  39. omiolo Says:

    [..YouTube..] @age234

you CONVENIENTLY skipped John Chapter 17, which explains EXACTLY how they are ONE!

Do NOT be afraid of using ALL the Bible!

  40. omiolo Says:

[..YouTube..] Quinn Briggs fills a trough with water where the Cub Scouts can race toy sailboats at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Hampstead. Briggs served as the bishop for the church until last August. In his more than six years in the role, Briggs handled the spiritual needs of the congregation, as well as more practical needs, such as finances.

  41. omiolo Says:

[..YouTube..] Nobody who knows what its like to be a bishop ever asks to become one, he says, laughing as he leans back in his chair. Its not something you can really work toward; its something you are asked to do.

  42. age234 Says:

[..YouTube..] Jesus was praying in his human nature there.

Jesus has two natures: divine (God the Son, 2nd person of the Trinity) and human (Jesus the man). They are present in one person. He is a hypostatic union of two complete natures.

Since he is fully God and fully man, his human nature can pray to the Trinity, of which he is also a part. There is no contradiction between John 17 and Trinitarian theology.

Trinity = 3 Persons in one indivisible God
Jesus = Fully God, Fully Man

  43. omiolo Says:

    [..YouTube..] @age234

My God is NOT man! I worship ONLY God!

  44. omiolo Says:

[..YouTube..] Clad in blue scrubs, he opened his “clinic” in a church classroom Wednesday night and with two “nurses” cleaned and redressed leg wounds on two elderly men.

  45. omiolo Says:

[..YouTube..] Two medical people — Dr. Corey Ericksen and physical therapist Nylin Johnson who just showed up a couple of days ago — treat people around the church in the morning before heading to one of the numerous tent cities around town. Ericksen said babies are dealing with diarrhea and fever right now.

  46. age234 Says:

[..YouTube..] If He was not man, who was laid in a manger? If He is not God, whom did the angels who came down from heaven glorify?

If He was not man, who slept in the ship? If He is not God, who rebuked the waves and the sea?

If He was not man, who was crucified on the cross? If He is not God, who shook the foundation of the earth?

If He was not man, who did the women see laid in the grave? If He is not God, about whom did the angel say: He is risen?

If He is not God and Man, our salvation is false.

  47. age234 Says:

    [..YouTube..] So which is it?

    1. Jesus is not God
    2. Jesus is not Man

  48. omiolo Says:

[..YouTube..] maybe you should go back and READ what I wrote, this time focusing on comprehension??

  49. omiolo Says:

[..YouTube..] Petersen, Nibley’s youngest daughter, presented on his early education as part of the weekly Hugh Nibley lecture series taking place at BYU to commemorate what would been his hundredth birthday.

Petersen said that she’s been asked many times how her father became the renowned LDS apologist that the academic community revered.

  50. omiolo Says:

[..YouTube..] “He had defensive armor against trivialities,” said Petersen.

But Nibley wasn’t always prepared for what the world threw at him, such as the first day of kindergarten.

Petersen recalled her father sharing that on the first day, his mother asked the milkman to see him safely to school. But when the principal, an austere, authoritative man, came strolling toward young Hugh, he ran all the way home and flung himself into his mother’s arms to “escape the retribution of authority.”

  51. age234 Says:

[..YouTube..] I don’t know what you mean. If your God is not man, then your God is not Jesus because Jesus is man.

  52. omiolo Says:

[..YouTube..] Jesus is God, I am sorry if that confuses you!

  53. age234 Says:

[..YouTube..] I’m not. I’m glad to hear you say that. And Jesus is fully man as well?

  54. omiolo Says:

[..YouTube..] Jesus Christ is God, the Resurrection and the Life.

your god is man, my God is God!

  55. omiolo Says:

[..YouTube..] SALT LAKE CITY — An auction in New York City this week featured never-before-seen rare documents, some of them important to the history of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

A Utah collector says some items sold for 10 times the asking price.

  56. omiolo Says:

[..YouTube..] Rare books and documents collector Ken Sanders shares the auction catalogs of an incredible collection, including rare pieces from early LDS Church history.

Explorer Floyd Risvold spent decades collecting. He recently died at age 97. His 1,300-item collection, valued at $5 million, sold at the New York City auction.

  57. age234 Says:

[..YouTube..] You didn’t answer my question. Is Jesus Christ a man, a human being, flesh and blood?

  58. omiolo Says:

    [..YouTube..] @age234

    Jesus Christ is God.

    Did I NOT say that?

    I think I did!

  59. omiolo Says:

[..YouTube..] 5. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is Christ’s true church on the earth

When Elder and Sister Oaks lived in the Philippines, she said the church grew there like a “big mushroom.” However, she feared the people didn’t have an in-depth knowledge of the gospel.

“I felt like (Elder Oaks and I) were sent there to really teach them about the church,” she said.

  60. omiolo Says:

[..YouTube..] As a convert — “the only wife of an apostle who’s a convert!” she said — she had to gain a testimony of the principals that many Mormons grow up with and take for granted.

She said the biblical scripture Malachi 3:10 on tithing and the Lord opening the windows of heaven is particularly special to her. She recalled how her first bishop was frustrated with her as she struggled to write her first tithing check.

  61. age234 Says:

[..YouTube..] We have established that. We both agree, Jesus Christ is God.

Is Jesus Christ, who we agree is God, also a human being, with flesh and blood?

  62. age234 Says:

[..YouTube..] It’s a Yes or No question.

  63. omiolo Says:

    [..YouTube..] @age234

I am NOT sure you really believe Jesus Christ is God.

I think you have Him as 1/3 god or something like that.

  64. omiolo Says:

[..YouTube..] Cornia points to the school’s rankings, its emphasis on global issues and its programs for international students as ways graduates can become more marketable. Another way is that the school skimmed off 1,359 of the highest-level applicants out of 2,274 who applied for the 2010-09 school year — a 60 percent acceptance level.

  65. omiolo Says:

[..YouTube..] “Students are getting better every year,” Cornia said during a conversation in his Tanner Building corner office. “And as they get stronger, they walk into the classroom expecting more out of the faculty.

“The struggle we have is making certain that when students walk into the classroom they have an exceptional experience. We cannot become complacent. … We have to live up to the expectations that have been imposed on us.”

  66. age234 Says:

[..YouTube..] Sigh. Why is it so hard to say Yes or No? This is becoming silly.

No. Each Person of the Trinity is fully God unto Himself. The Father is fully God, the Son (Jesus) is fully God (and fully human), the Holy Spirit is fully God.

So, back to Jesus. Will you please answer the question? It really is a simple question. Otherwise I will assume the answer is no, Jesus is not a human being. Do you object? Please answer.

  67. omiolo Says:

[..YouTube..] so why does math and logic NOT apply when discussing your god?

1+1+1=3 you want it to be

    1+1+1=1

  68. omiolo Says:

[..YouTube..] McKay Burrows spent four Saturdays constructing a 10-foot-tall retaining wall for a church campsite in the American Fork Canyon area.

Friends told him he had done enough, but the same drive that led the 20-year-old Mormon missionary to become a concert-level pianist and win a scholarship to BYU made him strive to finish the project.

  69. omiolo Says:

[..YouTube..] “He did everything. He organized the labor, he dug out the foundations, set the foundation blocks,” said Patrick Hendrickson, a friend of the Burrows family and former bishop in the Burrows’ Highland, Utah, ward before they moved. “It just exemplifies the kind of person he was.”

Yet it was the last big project Burrows would complete. Burrows and his missionary companion died Saturday from accidental natural-gas asphyxiation due to a gas leak in their apartment in Romania.

  70. omiolo Says:

[..YouTube..] Elder Burrows of Highland and Elder Jace Edwards Davis, 20, of Logandale, Nev., were serving in the LDS Church’s Romania Bucharest Mission.

  71. age234 Says:

[..YouTube..] Why is the nature your god limited by human logic?

It is not 1+1+1=3 or 1+1+1=1. There is one divine Essence (one God) with three divine Hypostases (three Persons).

Stop changing the subject. It is incredibly childish. We can come back to this when you tell me whether Jesus (who we agree is God) is also human being or not.

I have answered directly every question you have asked, at least have the courtesy to respond in kind. Is this how your missionaries act when they visit people?

  72. omiolo Says:

    [..YouTube..] @age234

    “Essence” “Hypostases”

my Bible uses NONE of those words. Your god can NOT be defined in the Bible using your definitions. While the Mormon God can, using Biblical words.
I will stick with the Biblical and thus Mormon God.

  73. omiolo Says:

[..YouTube..] The miracle-makers of the movies have done their work well, as usual. They have recreated the past in amazing detail for one of the greatest historical dramas ever undertaken by the films. The Brigham Young company from Twentieth Century-Fox is on location and in action.

  74. omiolo Says:

[..YouTube..] Stretched out in a seemingly endless line that reaches to the horizon are scores of covered wagons drawn by horses, mules and oxen. Several hundred horsemen gallop up and down that never-ending line as it moves steadily and remorselessly forward

[..YouTube..] At the head of the long train rides Dean Jagger, who plays the title role in Brigham Young, Tyrone Power, the chief of the Mormon scouts, Brian Donlevy, John Carradine, Moroni Olsen, Frank Thomas and Willard Robertson, all portraying Mormon leaders.

  76. age234 Says:

[..YouTube..] The Bible is the central part of Holy Tradition, but it is not the sole part. Christ did not leave us a Bible, He left us a Church.

And as I have already proven, Jesus Christ is both God and Man. You do not worship the God Who Is because you do not believe this.

  77. age234 Says:

[..YouTube..] Besides, your “bible” has many additions made by Joseph Smith, so your “bible” cannot be trusted.

  78. age234 Says:

[..YouTube..] Furthermore, there is nothing in the Bible about God being a former human who perfected himself to godhood, or the preexistence of souls, or faithful Mormons going off to be the gods of new worlds and the parents of all their inhabitants, or a pantheon of gods, or baptism of the dead, or any of these other things.

  79. omiolo Says:

God the Son/Jesus conceived by Holy Spirit and Mary non-sexually
    Jesus born

God the Father’s spirit born in heaven of his spirit parents
the Father was born a human being of his human parents
    the Father reaches divinity
Son/Jesus’ spirit born in heaven of the Father and a spirit mother

Another section of the site offers regularly-updated messages from Church leaders about the issues youth face. Visitors will also find uplifting videos and as stories about other youth from all over the world. Youth are encouraged to share the site with friends and family members.

  102. age234 Says:

[..YouTube..] I know that. Is Jesus Christ ONLY God? That is what I’m asking.

I believe Jesus is both God and a human being. He is everything it means to be God, and everything it means to be a human. God condescended and became man without corrupting his divinity.

How did Jesus hunger, thirst, sleep, become fatigued, bleed, and die if he was not a human?

  103. age234 Says:

[..YouTube..] I have talked to Mormons who have expressed such confusion over why Christians look down on their faith. I think this is part of it: I have never spoken to a Mormon who will give a straight answer on any of these subjects. It just turns into word games. Whereas I, and most other Christians, will give straight answers about our beliefs. It feeds the idea that Mormonism is a cult and that you are hiding something, and I know you don’t want that. So let’s proceed without the word games. Please.

  104. omiolo Says:

[..YouTube..] Mormons are Christian, in fact we are the ENSIGN of such.

Thus your argument holds NO water.

  105. omiolo Says:

  106. omiolo Says:

[..YouTube..] We will not be bringing out the orphans. No orphans. The word traveled back through the airplane with heaviness and burning disappointment as we flew closer to Haiti. The plan had been for the orphans to be loaded during our planes hour turn-around in Haiti, but it seemed that it just could not be. Timing had to be precise. Planes had to take off. These papers, long in process, still lacked signatures.

  107. age234 Says:

[..YouTube..] How can Mormons be Christians? Mormons don’t believe in the Christ who actually existed, the God-Man who became incarnate for our salvation and destroyed death by his death so we can enter into the life of the Holy Trinity, but instead, a made-up false Christ who is a created being, the brother of Lucifer, who is one of billions of spirit children of God the Father and countless gods in equal standing with the Father.

That is not Christianity. Never has been, never will be.

  108. age234 Says:

[..YouTube..] OK, we have established that Mormons are not Unitarians. Now we have to figure out if Mormons are Arians or Gnostics.

The Arians denied that Christ was God incarnate.

The Gnostics denied that He was incarnate at all.

  109. omiolo Says:

[..YouTube..] “Now we have to figure out if Mormons are Arians or Gnostics.”

Not Arians — Jesus Christ is God

Gnostics — depends on how you define Gnostics

but we are DEFINITELY NOT pagan pseudoChristians who worship a paganized trinity.

  110. omiolo Says:

[..YouTube..] Gheuthewannha Francillion, President of the Port-au-Prince Haiti North Stake and the Haiti Facilities Director for the Church said, We know we are leaders. This is our task. Leaders should be dedicated to our people. Sometimes we feel really sad. Sometimes we feel we will fall down, but when I think about the people, I think I wake up. This is a hard time, but we have to face it.

  111. omiolo Says:

Three or four of them were returned missionaries, and one was an inactive sister that he home taught and had vowed to reactivate. However, all the leaders, but the second counselor in the stake Relief Society presidency are living, though several lost their homes. He said they can and must carry the load.

  112. age234 Says:

[..YouTube..] So Mormons are gnostics. Well there you go. Do Mormons believe we are ultimately spiritual beings, who are just temporarily confined to bodies, but the ideal state is release from the body?

How are Christians (that is, Trinitarians) pagan? That makes no sense. The Gnostics and their Mormon spiritual descendants are the ones with pagan elements.

The Mardys keep them and let them become helpers of the younger children. They have several who are in their older teens. Bishop Mardy becomes their father, Majorie said.

  117. omiolo Says:

[..YouTube..] This child has been here since 2002, Bishop Mardy said, nodding toward a child.

The adoption process is complex, because parents cannot take Haitian children out of the country until their identity has been documented, and it is certain that they have been given up by their family. They also have to assure that orphans are both physically mentally healthy.

  118. age234 Says:

[..YouTube..] Because it’s true, and because it supports and explains everything you have said (and have refused to say) thus far.

  136. age234 Says:

I asked a Mormon I know from an online forum to explain this, and he said that it’s true in the sense that they are both the God the Father’s offspring. Is this accurate?

  137. omiolo Says:

[..YouTube..] there are NO scriptures indicating that. However, some Mormons believe that Jesus and Lucifer are both the Son and son of God. Which could indicate that they are some how brothers. Others do NOT believe that Jesus the Christ and Lucifer, a son of the morning, are brothers since there is NO scripture indicating that.

And I do know what all of these mean, and yes, they are all present in the LDS faith.

  143. age234 Says:

    [..YouTube..] Gnosticism – we covered.

Anthropomorphism – applies human traits to the Father in a literal fashion (to the point that he is/was a physical human).

Arianism – the belief that that Son had a beginning, and he did not exist at some point, also that the Father is superior to the Son

Polytheism – “As man is, God once was; as God is, man will become.”

    Iconoclasm – Self-evident.

Despite your claims, I have not seen them lie about anything. In fact, the way they document everything they do and say shows to me that they aren’t afraid of the truth the way a liar would be.

As for your God being a God of love, I pray that He is your God. The God of Heaven and Earth and all Creation is the only God and He is love. He is the God we read of in the Bible. However, the God of Mormonism is not that God. In fact, he is the false god of Joseph Smith’s imagination.

Now, the things on FAIRLDS, I see a lot of name-calling (and maybe that’s just a staple of Mormonism) and a lot of shoddy scholarship (possibly another staple). However, nothing that they put forward as “lies” are actually untrue; they are just unpleasant for Mormons to hear.

[..YouTube..] @HectorXDelgado NOPE! It was a joke making fun of those who had prejudged the LDS Church. Those filled with prejudice. Especially since Mormons churches do NOT have basements. Nice try though.

    Author: Jacob Hancock

  185. omiolo Says:

[..YouTube..] TURLOCK, Calif. — A young Mormon teen from Turlock, Calif., was recently honored for raising more than $5,000 for victims of the Haiti earthquake.

  186. omiolo Says:

[..YouTube..] A local Red Cross chapter awarded 15-year-old Anne Thomas with “The Spirit of Red Cross,” an honor traditionally given to adults performing “extraordinary life saving acts,” according to the Stanislaus County Chapter.

  187. HectorXDelgado Says:

    [..YouTube..] @omiolo
Well, I’m sure that they don’t have kool-aid either. So, what does the fact that they don’t have basements have to do with anything? It was a reference to the Jim Jones massacre where he brainwashed a bunch of people to drink kool-aid laced with arsenic or cyanide “for Jesus.”

And, I’m pretty sure that, in context, Beck wasn’t making fun of anyone (much less anyone with a prejudice against the Mormon Church), but trying to convey exactly what I had originally stated.

  188. omiolo Says:

[..YouTube..] @HectorXDelgado I answered the question, it was a JOKE playing on the IGNORANCE and PREJUDICE of BIGOTS. Your INABILITY to see that says a LOT about you!

  189. omiolo Says:

[..YouTube..] “The doctor said the cord had tied around her ankle so tight it had completely cut off all circulation,” she said.

But her baby’s death had a silver lining.

Price said her grandmother, who had also lost a premature baby, held her baby after she was dressed and prepared by Share Utah volunteers.

  190. omiolo Says:

[..YouTube..] “She said finally, after 56 years, she had gotten closure,” Price said, explaining that a half century ago, medical personnel did not provide opportunities for mothers of these babies to grieve. They just took them away.

“I was so grateful for Share to come up to the hospital and be a part of my life,” she said. “As hard as it is, we know it’s just going to keep happening.”

  191. HectorXDelgado Says:

    [..YouTube..] @omiolo
Name-calling must be a staple of Mormonism because that’s all I ever hear from you all. “Everyone who isn’t a Mormon is an anti-mormon, ignorant bigot who’s going to Hell.” And, yet, they never argue FOR their point, but always AGAINST anyone who sees the many irreconcilable problems with Mormonism (like there being absolutely no evidence for it).

YOUR unwillingness to get beyond that says a lot about YOU.

  192. omiolo Says:

[..YouTube..] @HectorXDelgado so demanding that you OVERCOME your IGNORANCE and BIGOTRY makes me a name caller? You should be grateful that someone demands you become a worthwhile person instead of being so defensive!

  193. omiolo Says:

[..YouTube..] New FamilySearch Library in Riverton Opens to the Public

  194. omiolo Says:

[..YouTube..] SALT LAKE CITY 17 June 2010 Whether for seasoned researchers with years of experience or curious family history newcomers with simple questions about their ancestors, a new FamilySearch Library in Riverton, Utah, is making it easier and more convenient for south valley residents to look into the branches of their family tree. The new Riverton FamilySearch Library is a state-of-the-art family history research center equipped with a treasure trove of tools and resources.

  195. omiolo Says:

[..YouTube..] The library replaces 24 smaller family history centers that had been operating in Latter-day Saint stake centers (meetinghouses) in the southern part of the Salt Lake Valley until earlier this year. Consolidating the smaller centers into a larger facility will enhance the experience of patrons significantly. In the new library, visitors will enjoy extended hours, broader research assistance and access to significantly more genealogical resources.

  196. HectorXDelgado Says:

    [..YouTube..] @omiolo
You’re demanding that I BECOME STUPID (I can’t become ignorant of the truth because I already know it, therefore I can only become stupid by rejecting the truth). Also, where does bigotry come into any of this? Encouraging Mormons to honestly examine the huge gaping flaws in their religion in hope that they will eventually come to know the REAL God, the REAL Jesus, and REAL Salvation? If that is “bigotry,” then I am guilty and not ashamed to be so (Romans 1:16-17; 1 Cor. 1:18).

  197. omiolo Says:

[..YouTube..] @HectorXDelgado NOPE, if I wanted you to become STUPID, I would demand you stay the same! No matter what your pastor tells you, increase of KNOWLEDGE and TRUTH does NOT make you stupid.

  198. omiolo Says:

[..YouTube..] In 1984, the Mormon Tabernacle Choir visited Toronto. At one part of the program, Choir members were asked to stand up if they had any Canadian ancestry. Approximately half of the choir stood up, to cheers and applause from the audience. In 1990, when the Toronto Ontario Temple was completed, the temple district included Palmyra and Kirtland, although the two locations are no longer within the district.

  199. HectorXDelgado Says:

    [..YouTube..] @omiolo
How presumptuous to assume that I haven’t studied Mormonism on my own and to think I blindly accept what someone else has told me to believe!

  200. HectorXDelgado Says:

    [..YouTube..] @HectorXDelgado
And, as much as I disagree with your assertion that I am stupid for knowing and obeying the TRUE God, the TRUE Jesus, and His TRUE word, I completely agree with you in that the increase of knowledge and truth does not make someone stupid. This is why I encourage you to study your own religion and see that it cannot possibly be the restored Church of Christ as found in the First Century and in the Bible, God’s Holy and ONLY Word.

  201. omiolo Says:

[..YouTube..] @HectorXDelgado yeah, right. I am sure you have read the BOM too. come on!

  202. omiolo Says:

[..YouTube..] During more than two hours of intense and sometimes skeptical questioning by Chief U.S. District Judge Vaughn Walker, attorney Charles Cooper maintained that society is entitled to reserve its approval of marriage for those who can naturally conceive children.

  203. omiolo Says:

[..YouTube..] “The marital relationship is fundamental to the existence and survival of the race,” Cooper said in closing arguments before a packed San Francisco courtroom. The reason the state regulates marriage, he said, is to steer “procreative sexual relationships” into a stable family environment so that children can be raised by their biological parents.

  204. HectorXDelgado Says:

    [..YouTube..] @omiolo
Word for word, several times. I have a copy of the 1830 edition, a 1910 edition, and one that I got last year. I have studied and compared, highlighted and underlined each of them. I have even studied the D&C, TPoGP, the Joseph Smith Translation of the Bible, and have read every volume of the Journals of Discources. Because I have personally examined each Mormon text and what early Mormon apostles and prophets taught about it, I can tell you that none of them are “from God.”
