[..YouTube..] thank you. i was not brought up with religion. I’ve lived on my own since 14 and put myself through university by living in my car – in Kingston, Ont. Canada(very cold) The commandments must sit deep in the soul because I knew right from wrong. I learnt at a young age that if I could justify something after having inner dialogue- and my decision was wrong than it was a lesson by God. I had no one so I honored the pureness of self and the spirit that gave me life. optimistic -even at dark times.

You praphrase it as God is saying ‘hey I am the No1 nobody else comes before me’
Who is this God exactly?
I recall it being JEHOVAH? But Mormons chose Elohim The Father above Jehovah who is Jesus according to LDS Theology.
So are you not disobeying Jehovah/Jesus here and putting Elohim as No1 instead?

[..YouTube..] Hmm, interesting question. This is a splitting hairs doctrine that Backyard Professor may be more qualified to answer than me, as I’m not considered a gospel scholar. My personal take on this one is that it’s JEHOVAH speaking here. That’s just MY opinion.

James Talmage taught us that JEHOVAH is Jesus and Elohim is The Father.
This creates a problem for the LDS here here because JEHOVAH says have no other Gods before him and yet Mormons by their own theology do choose ‘another ‘ god before Jesus and that is Elohim.
A strange contradiction. Have LDS leaders ever learned of biblical theology?

[..YouTube..] Hmm, I never EVER thought of that, thanks for the new perspective. Graven images are typically there for people to worship, not just as design elements. Symbolically, Angel Moroni’s trump faces a certain way to herald the second coming, not something we worship, so I would have to say no on that, but that is a fair question. I’d love other’s opinions as well. Feel free to post people!

a person cannot be made right with God by keeping the commandments. The commandments only show us how filthy dirty we are and that we need a savior to cleanse us from our sins or transgressions.

1 on the side makes a minus sign “-” (no other)
5 I write sloppy in a way it looks like a lower case H
6 I think it is easier to make into a cannon. Just don’t curve the barrel.
7 I just add a line down the left to make a Capital A
8 I turn sideways to make a pair of Hand cuffs (I used to work in a prison) lol
9 I just add ears to the top for my bear.
The rest are too close to mention.
