Following the pattern used in 44:10, it seems more likely that 44:8 means there is no other God that we should worship. God is our Heavenly Father, he is the only God we should worship. That doesn’t mean that we cannot become like Him or that there aren’t others like Him. The book of Isaiah is full of poetry and is one of the toughest books in the Bible to understand. Try finding clearer verses to codemn an entire religion.

Book of Mark was I believe by Mark, the founder of the Coptic church, but not necessarily a prophet, peace and blessings be upon him. Luke was not a prophet. It’s exactly that, service. So any money we pay goes to exactly what it should, for helping others and building the Kingdom of God. The church has side businesses, like a lot of other churches do that pay for other things. Tithing is sacred, and treated as such within the church. There is no such thing as Absolute Truth, but Truth is Reality. I find the notion that we are all the children of a heavenly father to be absurd, as if you want to dive into the realms of philosophy to that level, it makes no sense for you to carry with you the baggage of this reality, such as family connections, emotion, and the concept of self.
