We believe our prophet (a lot like the pope) is called of God to lead the church. Also we believe in the Book of Mormon, which is “another testament of Jesus Christ”. Which we believe was translated from recorded accounts from the American continent during the time of Christ. So basically the Book of Mormon is like an extention of the Bible. 2. Study Deuteronomy 13 and 18. A False prophet can prophesy correctly. A false prophet can shows signs and wonders. However, one doesn’t determine if a prophet is from God by accurate prophesies. There is a two-fold test in Deuteronomy and Joseph fails on so many accounts, I don’t have room to write them out.

Click on Zina Huntington. She married Henry 7 months prior to Joseph. No divorce or death-Joseph married a woman who was already married. That is called adultery. Next time your priest, father, bishop, or whatever preaches any form doctrine to you. Give one honest attempt to really think about what they said and reason it out logically in your mind. Don’t give up joy, love, hope, fellowship, but give up the nonsense. Life is too short to waste on rituals for dead people or keeping gays from getting married.

No, polygamy happened in the LDS church because Joseph Smith needed a way to grow the church population rapidly. Amazingly the revelation to stop polygamy happened right about the time the Brigham Young wanted Utah to become part of the United States.

I only want you to really consider all aspects of your church for what it is, and you can’t do that if you sit behind the lies that your church leaders tell you. Look into the history yourself and you’ll see a lot of the same problems then continuing today. Read all 3 documents first visions. The court room documents of Joseph Smith’s trials when he was a treasure hunter.

Read about the temple rituals and their striking resemblance to Masonic rituals. Seriously I could go on.
